How to delete your account

1. 1Open the profile menuSign in to Friendly Stakes (the app or friendlystakes.com) and tap the menu button in the top-right corner of any screen.
2. 2Tap “Delete account”It's at the very bottom of the menu, below Sign Out.
3. 3Confirm by typing DELETEThe confirmation explains what's about to happen and asks you to type DELETE. This is permanent and cannot be undone.
4. 4That's it — deletion is immediateThere is no waiting period and no lingering copy sitting in a queue. The moment you confirm, your account is gone and you're signed out.

What happens to your data

What gets deleted. Your personal information — email, name, username, avatar, sign-in identities, push subscriptions, and your open activity. Bets that were still pending or active are cancelled automatically, so nobody is left waiting on a ghost.

What gets anonymized instead. Your side of shared records — bets your friends won or lost against you, pool standings, golf rounds you played in. Those are your rivals' histories too, so they stay, with your name replaced by a nameless placeholder that can't be traced back to you.

Subscriptions. A Friendly Stakes Pro subscription purchased on our website is cancelled automatically when you delete your account. A subscription purchased through the App Store or Google Play can only be cancelled in your store's subscription settings — Apple and Google don't let us do it for you — so cancel it there first if you're leaving for good.

What outlives deletion. A few minimal records that regulators, card networks, and the occasional dispute expect to exist: the terms-acceptance audit trail and subscription billing records. Neither is used for anything else.

Can’t sign in?

If you can’t access your account — lost password, lost email, uninstalled the app — email support@friendlystakes.com from any address and ask us to delete your account. Tell us the email or username it’s under; we’ll verify it’s really you and take care of the rest.
